The word yoga comes from the Sanskrit language, its root is "yug" which means union, and it specifically refers to our way of reconnecting or reuniting with the Supreme Being. Thus, in the Vedic Scriptures, the processes of connection with the spiritual dimension and with the Supreme Being are known as the systems or paths of yoga.
